Williamsburg Police: Gas Station Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint on Richmond Road

Williamsburg Police are looking for two men accused of robbing a Sunoco gas station clerk at gunpoint early Tuesday morning on Richmond Road.

The two men, described as black males in their 20s who wore hoodies and covered their faces, entered the business in the 1500 block of Richmond Road around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, according to a Williamsburg Police Department news release.

The suspects displayed two handguns and demanded money from the clerk, police said.

After the clerk gave them an undisclosed amount of money, the two fled the scene.

The clerk was the only one in the store at the time of the incident, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
