Warrants are out for a 40-year-old man police say assaulted a teenager in the Strawberry Plains subdivision early Sunday morning.
Williamsburg Police officers responded to the 200 block of Holland Drive around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, where a teenage boy told them he had been assaulted by Williamsburg resident Henry Matthew Holland Jr. during an argument.
Maj. Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department said Holland was not at the scene when officers arrived.
Riley did not know the extent of the injuries, but said the boy did not have to seek medical attention.
Police obtained warrants for Holland, charging him with felony strangulation, felony child abuse and misdemeanor assault.
As of Monday afternoon, Holland had not been arrested, police said.
