A 56-year-old man was arrested Thursday after being accused of inappropriately touching a teenage boy over the course of two years.
Lt. Dennis Ivey with the York-Poquoson Sherriff’s Office said in a news release today deputies received a report June 26 about the incidents, which allegedly occurred between May 1, 2010, and Jan. 1, 2012, at Thomas G. Seifert’s home on Meadowfield Road and while in the snack shed at the Edgehill Pool on Cockletown Road.
The victim, who Ivey said was known to the suspect, was 15 when the inappropriate touching allegedly began.
Seifert was arrested at his home and was charged with four counts of taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship.
Ivey said the investigation is ongoing.
