Traffic stops of up to 30 minutes are expected between 1:30 and 5:30 a.m. on the Coleman Bridge on Sunday as crews perform electrical-mechanical work.
The stops will take place as traffic conditions permit. Maritime traffic will not be affected. After each stop, crews will reopen the bridge and allow queued traffic to clear. A Virginia Department of Transportation news release said the work is scheduled when traffic volumes are lower to reduce impact on motorists.
