KOA Williamsburg Campground Open for the Season; Celebrates 51 Years with Giveaway

The Williamsburg KOA Campground is open for the 2013 camping season.

KOA, at 4000 Newman Rd, is celebrating its 51 years of service in a partnership with Keystone RV Company to give campers a chance to win a $40,000 Keystone Cougar recreational vehicle and a decade of free KOA camping as part of the 2013 Great KOA Giveaway. Weekly prizes from KOA, Cabela’s and Weber Grills will also be awarded.

“We’ve now been helping campers have fun for more than 51 years,” said KOA President Pat Hittmeier in a news release. “We pride ourselves on having KOAs for every type of camping, and being where we know people want to go. Campers in this area are fortunate to have such a great KOA right at their doorstep. They are part of the KOA family, so I know they’ll take great care of their guests.”

The Williamsburg KOA is one of 487 KOA campgrounds now in the Kampgrounds of America system in the U.S. and Canada. Kampgrounds of America was founded in Montana in 1962 and is the world’s largest system of open-to-the-public family campgrounds.
