The Neighborhood Council of Williamsburg will discuss the Historic Triangle campus of Thomas Nelson Community College at its Saturday meeting.
The council meets from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Quarterpath Recreation Center, located at 202 Quarterpath Road. Meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
TNCC President John Dever will be joined by Provost William Travis and Vice President Cynthia Callaway to discuss TNCC’s plans and progress.
The Historic Triangle campus opened in 2009, in a new 120,000-square-foot building located next to Warhill High School. It offers credit and continuing education programs, including nursing, medical technician, engineering, information systems technology and paralegal studies.
The Neighborhood Council provides residents an opportunity to discuss issues relating to quality of life in the city’s neighborhoods. The mayor and a member of City Council attend each meeting.
