WILLIAMSBURG – Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Bier Fest Brews & BBQ opens Friday and runs weekends through Sept. 7, including Labor Day.
The festival features more than 80 craft beers and cocktails from 60 breweries, including 39 from Virginia, such as Alewerks, Billsburg and The Virginia Beer Company. More than 30 barbecue dishes round out the food lineup, alongside new menu items including pineapple soy BBQ turkey wings, cherry Coca-Cola ribs, BBQ turkey tails, a seven bean salad and a whoopie pie dessert.
Entertainment includes a free concert by rapper Flo Rida, known for his hit “Low,” on Saturday, Sept. 5, plus performances by the park’s house band, The Broken Turnstiles, known for blending punk, hip-hop and alternative rock. The Busch Gardens Drone Show will also run on select dates.
