WILLIAMSBURG— The Williamsburg 250 Committee invites the public to the premiere of “Revolution Untold,” a video series in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

Led by William & Mary students, this project aims to uncover the often-overlooked histories of the individuals whose contributions in Williamsburg, Virginia, were instrumental in shaping a new nation.

The premiere, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Stryker Center, 412 N. Boundary St. Attendees are invited to a pre-event reception with hors d’oeuvres prior to the screening.

“Revolution Untold” explores the stories of individuals and communities whose contributions were essential to the American Revolution. By sharing these untold and under-told stories, the project encourages a fuller remembrance and a clearer understanding of the founding of the United States of America.

The video series is generously supported by the Williamsburg250 Committee, William & Mary Strategic Cultural Partnerships, and the Society of 1918 at William & Mary, with additional funding provided in part by a grant from the VA250 Commission in partnership with Virginia Humanities.
