WILLIAMSBURG — Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s new coaster, Big Bad Wolf: Wolf’s Revenge, made the USA Today 10Best New Theme Park Attractions to Experience in 2026 list.

The article noted Big Bad Wolf: Wolf’s Revenge, which came in at No. 2 on the list, has the lowest height requirement of all of the park’s roller coasters and is accessible to a wider range of families, offering a “thrill without traumatizing.” It added riders have praised the immersive theming and love the night rides when the coaster car’s eyes light up to add atmosphere.

“We are excited to have The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge selected as the No. 2 Best New Theme Park Attraction by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. We’d like to thank our fans for their support and casting countless votes for The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge,” says Kevin Lembke, Park President, Busch Gardens & Water Country USA.

“This ride has been a great addition to our park, combining the nostalgia of a legendary attraction with an all-new experience that the whole family can enjoy together,” he continued.

Clocking in at a top speed of 40 miles per hour over 2,500 feet of track, the coaster is currently North America’s longest family inverted coaster, according to Busch Gardens.

The coaster was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard — a company that specializes in custom-designed roller coasters. The company is credited with having built over 120 roller coasters around the world, according to Coasterpedia, and notably also designed Alpengeist and Apollo’s Chariot at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
