Like wiggly dogs? Meet Cisco. A 3-year-old, 35-pound bundle of excitement. Back in May, Cisco was found on the streets and picked up by animal control.
He was severely underweight and had lesions on his body. Animal control brought him to Heritage Humane Society, where he received medical care and some much needed nutrition. His body quickly recovered and his personality shone through like a lighthouse beacon. He proved a quick study, picking up sit in one training session and making great progress on his habit of jumping-up for attention.
He thinks that playgroup time is the most exciting thing in the world. Some dogs just couldn’t him and his “go go go! play play play” personality. But he has slowly been learning how to chill out and take a hint, and his circle of canine friends at the shelter is growing each day. He can be a little skittish when meeting new people. He warms up to women much faster than men. Last Sunday he went on a Fido Field Trip and met a cat (named Buster). Buster wasn’t sure about Cisco. But Cisco was sure… that Buster was very scary!
