Meet Bella, this week’s adoptable pet

Excerpts from Bella’s diary:

“Some of the other dogs just don’t know how to conserve their energy properly. They spend so much time being all worked up when there isn’t even a human nearby to boss around.  But I know how to spend my time being quiet and lazy…until it is time for fun!”

“The humans are so bad at holding on to the ball.  Sometimes they will have it in their hand, and suddenly it flies across the room. I always go and get it for them. But I usually make them pay me a treat to get it back. Sometimes they are just too cute and I won’t make them give me a treat, but I try not to spoil them too much.  How else are they going to learn?”

“Pro-tip: Sometimes the humans will forget that they have treats in their pocket and you have to remind them. This usually happens on a walk. I can smell the treats in there, but they haven’t given me any yet! But humans can be very dense, so you might have to tell them with a big loud voice. Even then, some humans just don’t understand. When that happens, you just have to enjoy your walk and accept that some humans are harder to train than others.”
