Williamsburg, Virginia – Cornerstone Wealth is growing its team. The Williamsburg-based wealth management firm welcomes Kimberly Newton as its Director of Operations.
In her new role, Newton serves Cornerstone Wealth’s clients by leveraging her extensive experience to enhance the firm’s forward-thinking initiatives to help clients preserve and maximize the impact of their wealth for their lifestyles and legacies. She focuses on maximizing efficiency within the firm allowing staff professionals to devote their time and talents to supporting the firm’s growing client base.
Newton brings 13 years of industry experience to the independent wealth advisory firm. She previously worked in Richmond at a financial services firm where she served as Chief of Staff. As a member of the management team, she directed the onboarding of advisors and oversaw the support of more than 200 advisors throughout the U.S.
Newton holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. A Williamsburg native, she is pleased to return to her hometown. In her free time, she is active in serving others including mission trips to Kenya, Ghana and Thailand.
