Williamsburg Realtor elected to state position

Williamsburg REALTOR® Andrew Nelson of Coldwell Banker Traditions, was elected on June 7 to a two-year term as treasurer for the Virginia REALTORS®, the largest professional trade association in Virginia, representing approximately 33,000 Realtors® engaged in the residential and commercial real estate business.

Nelson has served on the Virginia Realtors’ board of directors since 2015 and is a past president of the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors (WAAR). He currently serves as chairman of WAAR’s Investment Committee.

“I’m so pleased to be able to give back to my state association in this way,” he commented. “I have a business background and experience in financial management, so this position is a perfect opportunity for to put those skills to good use.”

Virginia REALTORS® serves as an advocate for homeownership and homeowners, and represents the interests of property owners in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
