JAMES CITY COUNTY— At approximately 5:44 p.m., James City County Police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Treyburn Dr. and Chambrel Way. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male in the roadway following a motorcycle crash.
The individual, a 68-year-old Williamsburg resident, was transported to Riverside Doctor’s Hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the incident.
Preliminary investigation by the James City County Police Crash Team indicates that the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and the incident appears to have been a single-vehicle collision.
