
JAMES CITY COUNTY — James City County Police are searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of the Wells Fargo bank at Monticello Marketplace Saturday morning.
According to JCCPD, at approximately 9:13 a.m. on Dec. 13, it responded to the reported robbery in the 4600 block of Monticello Avenue. Officers arrived to find that an unidentified male had entered the bank, displayed a firearm, demanded money, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported, officials said.
Police describe the suspect as a white, middle-aged male, approximately five feet, eight inches tall, and weighing approximately 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey jacket, grey T-shirt, jeans and a black ballcap.
