YORK COUNTY — Fire damaged a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 200 block of Birkdale Court in York County Monday evening.
According to the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety, at approximately 5:40 p.m., personnel responded to the vehicle fire in the driveway of the home. Fire and Life Safety personnel found the vehicle’s engine compartment fully engulfed in flames, and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
There was no damage to the home and no injuries. Mutual aid assistance was provided by Langley AFB Fire Department.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
