Holly Koons is the Executive Director of the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center at Christopher Newport University. The Torggler is a non-collecting public art museum which provides changing exhibitions of visual art and related programming, as well as a year-round schedule of art classes, workshops, and special events for the public. The “Gateways: African American Art from the Key Collection” exhibition is open through Dec. 28, and Koons spoke about this and other current exhibits, and also previewed shows in early 2026.
