William & Mary Board of Visitors to Meet Nov. 19-21

WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary announced the Board of Visitors will hold meetings in Williamsburg Nov. 19-21 to conduct regular business of the board.

According to the university, the Subcommittee on Compensation will meet beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall. The Executive Committee will meet at 4:45 pm, also in Blow Memorial Hall, Room 302, and conclude by 6 p.m. At approximately 6:30 p.m., the board will attend a dinner hosted by the Rector in the Executive Dining Room of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business.

On Thursday, Nov. 20, the university said a meeting of the Committee on Academic Affairs will begin at 8:45 a.m., in the Grimsley Boardroom, Room 201 of Blow Memorial Hall. At approximately 12:30 p.m., the board will participate in a tour of Oak Hall, followed by lunch with guests in the Oak Hall Great Room. The Committee on Academic Affairs meeting will resume at 2:30 p.m. in the Grimsley Boardroom of Blow Memorial Hall and is scheduled to conclude at 6:15 p.m. The Administration, Buildings and Grounds Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall and conclude for the day at 6:15 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., the board will attend a dinner with the academic deans in the Muscarelle Museum of Art.

On Friday, Nov. 21, the Committee on Audit, Risk and Compliance will meet at 7:30 a.m. in Room 302 of Blow Hall, and the Committee on Financial Affairs will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Grimsley Boardroom, according to William & Mary. A full meeting of the board will begin at 9:45 a.m. and conclude at 10:50 a.m. in the Grimsley Boardroom. Board members are invited to attend the W&M Men’s Basketball game against Regent University that will start at 11 a.m. in Kaplan Arena. A detailed schedule is available on the board website.

The meetings are open to the public, but the university said seating is limited. Due to space limitations, meetings of the full board will also be livestreamed on the Board of Visitors webpage at wm.edu/bovmeeting.

The university cautions all times are approximate, and the board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, it added, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
