HISTORIC TRIANGLE — Colleges and Universities are releasing their Fall 2022 academic recognitions, and several area students are making the grade.
Alissa Eurell Awarded Degree from Miami University
Alissa Eurell of Williamsburg was among students from Miami University who received degrees during the fall commencement Dec 9. Eurell graduated with a Master of Arts degree, majoring in Biology. Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio.
Hannah Proctor of Williamsburg named to Dean’s List at Grove City College
Hannah Proctor, a Mathematics major at Grove City College from Williamsburg, has been named to the Dean’s List with High Distinction for the Fall 2022 semester. Hannah is a 2022 graduate of Homeschool and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Proctor (Raquel) from Williamsburg.
Students eligible for the Dean’s List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean’s List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean’s List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.
Grove City College is a national Christian liberal arts and sciences college located north of Pittsburgh.
Hunter Culverhouse of Williamsburg makes Dean’s List at RIT
Hunter Culverhouse of Williamsburg was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year. Culverhouse is in the computer engineering program.
Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Ha’ani Smith named to Flagler College’s Fall 2022 President’s List
Ha’ani Smith of Williamsburg was among a distinguished group of students who were recognized for their academic excellence earlier this month.
To qualify for the President’s List, Smith, a Psychology major, had to earn at least a 4.0 GPA with at least 12 semester hours of graded credit.
Flagler College is located in St. Augustine, Florida.
CCU Fall 2022 Dean’s List; President’s List
More than 2,700 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2022 semester. Students who make the Dean’s List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher (3.25 for freshmen) for the semester. Dean’s List students include:

More than 1,100 students were named to the President’s List at Coastal Carolina University for the Fall 2022 semester, including Jade Robinson, from Williamsburg. Students who made the President’s List have achieved a 4.0 grade point average during the semester.
Coastal Carolina University is located in Conway, South Carolina, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach.
Local Emerson College Students Earn Dean’s List for Fall 2022 Semester
The following students earned Dean’s List honors for Emerson College’s Fall 2022 semester. The requirement to make Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.
- Jackson Query of Williamsburg, majoring in Theatre and Performance and a member of the Class of 2025
- Isabelle McMahan of Williamsburg, majoring in Creative Writing BFA and a member of the Class of 2026

MTSU congratulates local scholar for inclusion on fall 2022 dean’s list
Cameron Bradley of Yorktown is among more than 5,920 Middle Tennessee State University students recognized on the latest dean’s list for their academic achievements for the fall 2022 semester
To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.
Bradley is currently majoring in Nursing at the Murfreesboro university.
Middle Tennessee State University is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Erika Pratt Named to UM Fall 2022 Dean’s Honor Roll
Erika Pratt of Williamsburg was named to the University of Mississippi’s Fall 2022 Honor Roll lists.
Pratt was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.
In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
The University of Mississippi, affectionately known as Ole Miss, is the state’s flagship university.
Lisa O’Grady of Yorktown Named to Bridgewater College’s Fall 2022 Dean’s List
Lisa O’Grady of Yorktown was named to the 2022 fall semester Dean’s List at Bridgewater College. O’Grady is majoring in Health and Exercise Science.
O’Grady was among nearly 550 students named to the Dean’s List. Students on the Dean’s List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
Bridgewater College is a private, four-year liberal arts college located in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Noah Katz named to Clark University’s Fall 2022 Dean’s List
Noah B. Katz of Williamsburg was named to second honors on the Clark University Dean’s List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2022 semester.
Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.
Founded in 1887, Clark University is a liberal arts-based research university located in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Zachary Smith Named to Hamilton College Fall 2022 Dean’s List
Zachary Smith of Williamsburg has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College for the 2022 fall semester.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester and earned an average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
