WILLIAMSBURG — Escalante Golf, the owner and operator of Williamsburg’s Kingsmill Resort announced the naming of Bill Horn as general manager of the resort.
Horn officially started in the role on Sept. 25.
According to Kingsmill, Horn brings extensive hospitality and golf resort experience in operations and membership engagement.
Kingsmill recently announced a $25 million investment in the resort’s amenities, club, and guest experience over the next five years.

I look forward to working alongside such a talented hospitality team to help position Kingsmill as one of the premier destinations in our region.”
Horn began his career at The Boca Raton Resort and Club in Florida where he discovered his passion for hospitality and leadership skills.
Prior to joining the Kingsmill Resort team, Horn also served as director of guest relations and room division manager at The Breakers Resort, managing day-to-day operations of the Palm Beach property.
Horn was also a previous director of the PGA National Resort and Spa, holding multiple positions during his 17-year career, including the last five as Resort Manager.
Horn earned his degree from the International College of Communications. He previously served on the board of directors for Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association of Palm Beach, as well as other community charitable organizations such as United Way of Palm Beach, Palm Beach Chamber and the Children’s Home Society of Palm Beach.
