Two area business have announced new additions to their teams this week.
Langley Federal Credit Union
Langley Federal Credit Union has recently named Fred Hagerman as the vice president of marketing.
Hagerman obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from York University in Toronto and an MBA in marketing from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Upon finishing at university, Hagerman worked in direct and database marketing positions throughout Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, amassing more than 15 years of industry experience.
Most recently, Hagerman served as senior vice president, chief marketing officer for Firstmark Credit Union in San Antonio.
“We enthusiastically welcome Fred to the Senior Management Team at Langley Federal Credit Union,” Langley President/CEO Tom Ryan said. “We are delighted to have him as our Vice President of Marketing and are confident that the credit union will undoubtedly benefit from the marketing experience and expertise that he brings to our institution.”
Hagerman will oversee all marketing activities for the credit union, which serves more than 227,000 members in the Hampton Roads area.

MP&A Digital & Advertising is pleased to announce the addition of Stephanie Miller as an account executive and social media manager with the company.
A Tennessee native, Miller graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in business.
Miller has significant experience working in hospitality, sales, marketing and public relations. She worked in hospitality communications for Disney and more recently in publicity with Webster Public Relations.
“Given her collegiate success and solid experience working with major brands, Stephanie is a strong addition to our team,” said Madigan Pratt, president of MP&A Digital & Advertising. “Stephanie’s training and proven skills will be instrumental in the digital media strategy for our hospitality clients.
