Greater Williamsburg’s buzziest charity golf tournament of the year, Make Par for Pets Golf Classic, benefitting the homeless animals at The Heritage Humane Society, is calling all golfers and pet lovers for sponsorship opportunities. Among the new features at this year’s tournament are the mid-Atlantic’s favorite crooner brothers from Good Shot Judy.

Make Par for Pets Golf Classic is teeing off on Sept. 13 on the championship golf courses of Kingsmill Resort. Play where the PGA and LPGA pros played on the stunning Pete Dye-designed River Course or the Arnold Palmer-designed Plantation Course.
Golf, sponsor, or golf and sponsor, the opportunities to make a life-changing difference for homeless pets in need right here in the Greater Williamsburg community. Every dollar raised here stays here. And, every memory made is topped with knowing that the shelter’s homeless pets will be receiving much-needed care, food, water and a safe place to stay temporarily as they await their fur-ever homes.
Tee it up as a golfer

The dedicated volunteers of The Heritage Humane Society Auxiliary (HHS Auxiliary) help Make Par for Pets Golf Classic a major success year after year. There are so many ways to be a winner on tournament day. One of the fun ways that get participants energized is raffle prizes. The HHS Auxiliary is still accepting raffle prizes. What’s better than making a hole-in-one? Adoption day!
Ok, well, making a hole-in-one is one of life’s great feats, too! Make Par for Pets helps the homeless pets at The Heritage Humane Society during their temporary stays as they look for their forever families to adopt them. Over 230 dogs, cats and small pets are currently in the shelter’s care. Adoptable pets are available to meet during The Heritage Humane Society’s visiting and adopting hours from noon to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
