Cambridge Crossing Celebrated National Assisted Living Week with a 104th Birthday

Sept. 8–14 was National Assisted Living Week. At Cambridge Crossing Assisted Living & Memory Care, the celebration was extra special this year as residents and staff joined together to honor one of their own — a remarkable resident turning 104 years old.

Grace Jones, a resident at Cambridge Crossing, taught generations of children as a school teacher while also being involved with her church as an organist and raising a family.

National Assisted Living Week is designed to recognize the vital role assisted living plays in supporting seniors and their families. This year’s theme, “Wacky Week,” highlighted the joy and vibrancy of daily life at Cambridge Crossing, it said. Each day featured a spirited theme, from Wacky Hat Day to Pajama Day, encouraging residents and staff alike to embrace fun, laughter, and creativity.
