WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association has announced a new partnership with Chesapeake Bank, which will see the bank serve as an official sales location for WARA gift certificates.
WARA gift certificates can be used at a wide variety of locally owned restaurants throughout the greater Williamsburg area. Starting this month, residents and visitors alike will be able to purchase these gift certificates at the following three Chesapeake Bank branches — Lightfoot, Lafayette and Five Forks.
WARA said the partnership will provide even greater convenience and community access.
“This partnership with Chesapeake Bank is an incredible show of support for our local restaurants,” said Rachel Sears, Executive Director of WARA. “They’ve always believed in the power of community, and by selling these gift certificates, they’re directly supporting small businesses in our region.”
