WILLIAMSBURG — As part of our countdown to 2025, WYDaily is revisiting its most-read and favorite stories of the year.
Coming in at No. 3 was the announcement that two Merchants Square businesses — Blackbird Bakery and La Piazza — would be closing at the end of March.
Both businesses were owned by Chef David Everett. In addition to La Piazza and Blackbird Bakery, Everett owns DoG Street Pub and Blue Talon Bistro, both of which remain open.
