WILLIAMSBURG — Little Angel’s Day Spa will be celebrating its grand opening on Jan. 19 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Little Angel’s Day Spa describes itself as a Christian business offering children’s parties in a salon setting, and aims “to celebrate the joys of innocence wonder only a child can show.” A variety of packages are offered with assorted services for a party.

Each party-goer gets their own robe and slippers, a pink lemonade in a fluted glass, and gets pampered with a simple hairstyle and make-up, mini manicure and pedicure, nail painting and mini facial. As a finishing touch, the partiers get to walk the runway to show off their new look to their friends and family.

Parties are for children ages three to ten years old.

Owner Carleen Molnar, who has an accounting firm in Williamsburg, wanted to branch out into something else as well. After tax season, she and her husband traveled to Colorado to visit family, where she took her grandnieces to a children’s day spa and parties.

“The glow in their eyes, on their face, was amazing, it really made an impact on me,” Molnar said. “I really feel that we need to bring our children up. We’re in some difficult times and they’re our future.”

After they returned and after personal reflection with faith, Molnar decided to move forward with the Little Angel’s concept.

Little Angel’s had its soft opening in December. The ribbon cutting on Jan. 19 will be at 4:30 p.m. It is located at 4548 John Tyler Highway, in suite A-10.
