ASPIRE Offers Programs for Young Professionals to Network, Grow

WILLIAMSBURG — ASPIRE Young Professionals of Greater Williamsburg has two upcoming dates for young professionals, ages 21 to 39, to mark on their calendars.

ASPIRE 2022 Showcase

On Thursday, Jan. 27, the organization will hold the ASPIRE 2022 Showcase at the College of William & Mary’s Brinkley Commons in the Alan B. Miller Hall from 5-7 p.m.

The social event provides networking opportunities and early access to register for 2022 events.

Attendees will receive two drink tickets and will have the opportunity to enjoy heavy hors d’oeuveres.

There is no cost to attend the ASPIRE 2022 Showcase and the dress code is “business casual.”

As a health precaution, the social event will require masks to be worn inside Miller Hall unless you are eating or drinking.

The ASPIRE 2022 Showcase is sponsored by the W&M Raymond A. Mason School of Business.

ASPIRE 2022 Mentorship Program Deadline

The second date is the deadline for ASPIRE’s 2022 Mentorship Program. The deadline for applications to apply for this program is Jan. 31, 2022.

The program’s goal is to help young professionals develop and reach their potential through professional mentoring. consists of

Mentors are board members of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and local executives representing a variety of industries in the area.

The mentorship program will run for one full calendar year and will consist of one-on-one meetings, networking events, and an end of the year “Thank You Dinner” event.

There is a list of guidelines that describe mentorship expectations, requirements, and objectives and it can be found online on ASPIRE’s website.
