The Patriot Buick GMC of Williamsburg will close on Friday, according to a Facebook post by the dealership.
“It is with deepest regret to inform our friends & customers that Patriot Buick GMC will close its doors for good on June 28, 2019. The Hines Family and their employees would like to thank you for your business and support for the past 45 years,” wrote Rick, David and Mike.
In another Facebook post, the dealership noted it was a hard decision and thanked family and their employees.
“Today we made the decision to close. It was hard since so many things are out of our control. You give it to God and let him lead the way. I want to thank our friends for the messages, emails and phone calls. It has been most appreciated. But the people that I want to especially thank are our dedicated employees. Without them, we wouldn’t have made it 45 years.”
It remains unclear why the dealership located on 217 2nd Street is closing.
David Hines, the owner, could not immediately be reached for comment.
