Greater Williamsburg residents craving a burger and fries can still get them at Walmart – but they’ll have to pick them up in the frozen food aisle.
The McDonald’s inside the Walmart Supercenter on Rochambeau Drive closed on Monday, Jan. 15, according to the store’s Assistant Manager David Grove.
Grove said it was McDonald’s decision to leave the premises, and added he doesn’t know what’s next for that part of the store.
“I haven’t heard anything about anything going there yet,” Grove said.
McDonald’s did not respond to a request for comment immediately before publication.
