POQUOSON — The Poquoson Police Department (PPD) is looking forward to hosting a meet-and-greet event at Bean’s Ice Cream, 475-M Wythe Creek Road, on Friday, March 19 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The event, known as Cones and Cops, is the first of its kind for the department and they are looking forward to meeting as many Poquoson residents as possible.
“It’s an opportunity to get out in the community and interact with our citizens in a social environment,” said Poquoson Police Capt. Kelly Waddell.
During the event, Bean’s is offering $1 scoops of ice cream for children.
