WILLIAMSBURG — Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has leased two new locations in the Hampton Roads market, including Williamsburg.
4,216 square feet of retail space have been leased at 1611 Richmond Rd. in Williamsburg, the site of a former dine-in Pizza Hut restaurant, which closed its doors in 2020.
The property owner’s application to demolish the Pizza Hut restaurant so that a new franchised business could be built was presented to the Williamsburg Architectural Review Board meeting in October.
Williamsburg will be Freddy’s fourth location in Hampton Roads, following a new location in Chesapeake.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is an American fast-casual franchise restaurant chain based in Wichita, Kansas. Items on the menu include steakburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and the company’s popular variety of frozen custards.
