WILLIAMSBURG — A burger joint is soon going to introduce itself to the Historic Triangle.

BurgerFi will open a new restaurant June 18th at 6610 Mooretown Road in Williamsburg, according to the company’s website.

Founded in Florida in 2011, BurgerFi is a casual food chain that offers angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and custard treats with an emphasis on eco-friendly practices. The company has about 120 corporate-owned and franchised restaurants across the country.

BurgerFi pledges that all of its angus beef products come from cows that have never been exposed to steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemicals, or additives.

The Williamsburg location is one of more than 30 new BurgerFi restaurants the company said they plan to open in 2021.
