TOANO — The KelRae Farm Food Hub has officially been open for a year. From having two members their first week to now more than 1,100 members and 40 vendors, the food hub has certainly grown.
With over 665 products, ranging from fresh produce to meats to fully prepared meals, the Food Hub has a lot to offer those who wish to source their food locally.
What has been KelRae Farm Food Hub’s secret to success?
The food hub offers a delivery service through The Errand Girls of Williamsburg. Once items are selected online, for a delivery fee, customers can choose to have their groceries brought right to their door.
But it’s not just the ease of access to fresh foods during these unprecedented times during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Our consumers like knowing where their products are coming from,” said Michelle Gulden, co-owner of KelRae Farm.

The farm’s customers can not only know exactly where their products come from, but from who.
