WILLIAMSBURG — Denver-based Solera Senior Living has announced the acquisition of the Edgeworth Park at New Town assisted living and memory care community in Williamsburg.

Edgeworth Park, 5501 Discovery Park Blvd, which opened its doors in 2017, offers 62 assisted living residences and 22 memory care suites. Residents can choose from studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

The senior living community also offers restaurant-style dining, full-salon service and fitness center, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy for residents.

“It is our goal to develop, own and operate communities that inspire a better quality of life for seniors, and Edgeworth Park’s favorable reputation and strong outcomes, combined with its highly experienced and stable leadership team, makes this a wonderful fit,” Jamie Ranzan, President of Solera, said. “As the new owner and operator, we’re excited to take an already impressive community and further enhance it with our innovative approach that is designed to elevate the entire senior living experience – one that is synonymous with the Solera brand.”

Edgeworth Park is Solera’s latest acquisition under the leadership of Founder and CEO, Adam Kaplan. The five-year-old company has opened two flagship properties in the last year – Modena Cherry Creek in Denver, Colo and Trulee Evanston in Evanston, Ill – providing smart technology and cutting-edge safety for residents of independent living, assisted living and memory care.
