Virginia Beach is ready to talk budgets, virtually.
On Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 3 p.m., the City Council will hold a virtual meeting to discuss the proposed FY 2020-21 operating and capital improvement project budgets.
The meeting was called by City Council Members Jessica Abbott, John Moss and Guy King Tower. According to a release sent out, the meeting will be live-streamed on VBTV (Cox channel 48 & Verizon channel 45), VBgov.com/media and Facebook.com/CityofVaBeach.
The proposed budget and amendments are available at VBgov.com/budget.
City officials say in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, City staff presented a revised FY 2020-21 Budget and Resource Management Plan on Tuesday, April 14. That presentation can be viewed on VBgov.com and YouTube.
