Police are searching for the culprit in a string of tire slashings that were reported in the Williamsburg section of York County Sunday.
Deputies from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple reports of vandalism to vehicles in the area of Winthrop Lane, Harrop Lane and Penniman Road on Sunday, according to a York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office news release.
Police claim an “unknown subject” slashed all four tires on multiple vehicles, the release stated. More vehicles were damaged across the county line in the City of Williamsburg, police say.
“If you live in this area please report all suspicious subjects to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office or the jurisdiction you reside in,” the release said.
