Rosa Belle Bolsam Poyner of Virginia Beach passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2017.
Rosa was born in Princess Anne County, the daughter of the late Lucille Land and Arthur S. Bolsam. Her husband of 49 years, K. Glenn Poyner, preceded her in death.
Rosa is survived by her children, Kenneth G. Poyner (Karen) and Teresa P. Garris, all of Virginia Beach, Va.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m . Thursday, Jan. 12, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association are acceptable.
