A Norfolk man was charged with armed burglary after he entered another man’s home Wednesday morning, resulting in both men being shot, police said.
Police were called to the 7900 block of Victory Drive around 1:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds.
Police say Robert Hicks, 22, entered the home. Gunshots were fired while Hicks was inside. Both Hicks and a 23-year-old man inside the home were shot, police said.
Both men were brought to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and should make a full recovery.
Nobody else was injured.
