Jairome Smith, an 8th grade student at Lois Hornsby Middle School in Williamsburg, has won this years “A Celebration of Peace” poster contest sponsored by the local James City Lions Club and and Lions Club International.
Jairome’s winning poster now advances to district and, hopefully, international rounds of the competition. Pictured (l-r) are Kenneth Edwards (art teacher), contest winner Jairome Smith, Margene Hartsough (James City Lions Club President) and Mia Pollard (Assistant Principle).
