The Williamsburg Regional Library has a full slate of shows on its scheduled throughout the month of February.
RPR Band in Concert
The folk rock group RPR Band is stopping in Williamsburg in time for Valentine’s Day with a Feb. 14 concert in the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater.
Consisting of former Tanglefoot rhythm section musicians Rob Ritchie, Steve Ritchie and Al Parris, along with percussionist Beaker Granger, RPR Band will bring an evening of music, storytelling and enjoyment to the Historic Triangle with their musical stylings.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for friends of the Williamsburg Regional Library, and $9 for patrons under 17.
The show is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Occidental Gypsy in Concert
Up-and-coming musical group Occidental Gypsy is coming to the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater later this month.
Combining elements of pop, jazz and dance music with up-tempo and high-energy melodies, Occidental Gypsy is one of the leading groups in the “Neo-Gypsy” musical genre.
The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for friends of the Williamsburg Regional Library, and $8 for those under the age of 17.

Freud’s Last Session
Mark St. Germain’s award-winning play “Freud’s Last Session” is making its Hampton Roads debut at the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater this February.
The play follows father of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud and Christian scholar C.S. Lewis as they debate the existence of God and the nature of death on the eve of the London Blitz during World War II.
A preview of the production is scheduled for Thursday, with additional performances Feb. 21, 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. A 2 p.m. matinee is scheduled for March 1.
Tickets are $16 for adults in advance and $18 at the door. Friends of the Williamsburg Regional Library can buy tickets for $16.

Berthe Morisot Lecture
Professional photographer Jeffrey Allison will deliver a lecture on Berthe Morisot and the Impressionist image of women at the Williamsburg Regional Library at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23.
Morisot was one of the few women to gain acclaim as an artist during the male-dominated impressionist period of the late 19th century, and her work was featured in the Paris Salon and with the works of other famous impressionists.
Allison will discuss Morisot’s life, work and how she navigated the art world as a woman.
The lecture is part of the Centuries of Art @ Your Library partnership between This Century Art Gallery, the Williamsburg Regional Library and the Virginia Museum of Fine Art.
Admission to the event is free. A light reception will follow.
