Brand changes means a new name for an area real estate brokerage firm.
Last week Prudential Towne Realty became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Towne Realty. TowneBank remains the parent company, with the ownership structure staying the same as well.
The shift means the firm will have access to the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ Global Network Platform – an online system for tools, applications and services – along with professional education and marketing support for agents.
CEO Barbara Wolcott and the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Towne Realty management team were on hand at the local office at 4135 Ironbound Road for a ribbon-cutting Jan. 7.
They also shared perspectives on the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network, which is based in Virginia Beach but serves the Hampton Roads area, and the outlook for this year’s real estate market.
