Events: Friends of Green Spring’s Annual Lecture at the Library Theatre and the Annual Public Site Tour at Green Spring

Join the Friends of Green Spring on Sept. 20 for a lecture at the Library Theatre. Lady Frances Culpeper Berkeley, wife of Governor Sir William Berkeley and mistress of Historic Green Spring, will hold court for an afternoon of conversation and entertainment.
The annual Public Site Tour at Green Spring is scheduled for Sept. 27. This is a once-a-year opportunity to tour the site of Governor Berkeley’s 17th-century plantation, which is normally closed to the public. Activities for the whole family will be available on site.
