The York County Violence Against Women Task Force presents the sixth annual Historic Triangle Conference on Crimes Against Women, Aug. 28 through 29. Who should attend? Law enforcement, military, local government and civilian domestic violence and sexual assault victim advocates; prosecuting attorneys; social workers, mental health care professionals; probation officers, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners and other health care professionals; domestic violence shelter personnel, animal welfare personnel; immigration workers; law students, victims of crime and anyone who is interested in learning more about these topics.
This year the conference will offer a variety of speakers and workshops that represent best practices in the field along with new and exciting approaches to the prevention of violent crime and service victims and society in general.
