D.J. Montague and J. Blaine Blayton elementary schools will have new assistant principals for the 2014-15 school year, but neither is new to the division.
Current D.J. Montague Assistant Principal Elizabeth Pell is switching places with current Blayton Assistant Principal Scott Holland. The Williamsburg-James City County School Board on Tuesday voted to approve a set of personnel actions, including the swap, which takes effect July 1.
Holland has been at Blayton for three years, and Pell was new to D.J. Montague — and the school district — this year.
Joining Holland on D.J. Montague’s administrative team is Principal Cathy Vazquez, who is transferring from Rawls Byrd Elementary School.
James River, Norge, Stonehouse and Rawls Byrd elementary schools will each have new principals this year, as will Berkeley Middle School. Click here for a story on the new principals.
