Event: The Comprehensive Plan Update

Event Information:
James City County is currently updating its Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan titled “Toward 2035: Leading the Way,” is the county’s master plan for guiding future growth as put forth by county citizens. The county is seeking community participation for the Comprehensive Plan by hosting three workshops. The three workshops are for citizens and business members to give their input on economic development, transportation and land use.
Attend a workshop and share your input on the county’s future plans:
Upper James City County: 7 to 9p.m. Monday, June 9 (7-9pm) Location: Toano Middle School-7817 Richmond Road
Central James City County: 11am to 1p.m. Tuesday, June 10 Location: King of Glory Lutheran Church-4897 Longhill Road (bring your lunch)
Lower James City County: 6:30 to 8:30p.m. Wednesday, June 11 Location: Little Zion Baptist Church-8625 Pocahontas Trail
If you cannot attend a workshop, a taped presentation will be available online or on JCC TV48 after the meetings.
