This year, the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary will host the Second Annual TribeFest forthe Cure, a music festival benefitting the Tidewater affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Last year’s inaugural event was attended by over 500 people and raised over $8,500 for breast cancer research, education, and advocacy – all while keeping the funds in the local area.
It is truly an event for the whole community, as attendees included students from the College’s graduate and undergraduate programs, as well as members of the Williamsburg community both young and old. There is something for everyone at TribeFest: face painting and moon bounces for kids, educational materials for the curious, a silent auction and a wine auction for the philanthropically inclined, live local bands for audiophiles, beer for adults and the older college students, as well as local food for everyone.
