ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The William & Mary men’s gymnastics team posted its best score of the season but was defeated in a dual meet at No. 8 Navy, 396.5-370.9, on Saturday afternoon.
Sam Lee highlighted the Tribe’s individual efforts, as he placed second on vault (14.2) and parallel bars (13.6).
Alek Kuzmenchuk nearly registered a top-three finish on rings and placed fourth with a 12.75.
Trenton Peazant (floor, 12.8), Aidan Cuy/Jared Noyman (pommel horse, 12.15) and Evan Sikra (high bar, 12.5) also tallied the team’s top scores in various events.
In addition to earning its top overall score this year, W&M also recorded season highs on floor (61.35) and rings (63.1).
