“Our team has come down with a ‘sick bug’ that has taken down the majority,” Gators coach Chris Moore wrote in an email. “Thankfully, only one of them has contacted COVID and he is remaining in quarantine until he is fully cleared.”

A makeup date has not been announced, but Moore said it will be next semester.

The Gators have two games scheduled for this week, Dec. 8 at Mid-Atlantic Christian in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and Dec. 10 at Frederick Community College in Maryland, before returning for a weekend homestand Dec. 16 against Monroe College of the Bronx and Dec. 17 versus Patrick & Henry College.
