
Warhill’s boys tennis team earned a resounding 9-0 road win against Gloucester on Monday.
Outside of one singles match that went three sets, the Lions had a relatively easy time sweeping Gloucester in singles play. Two matches – No. 1 and No. 3 singles –were shutouts, while Gloucester players won two or fewer games at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
The Lions has little difficulty in doubles play, winning at No. 1 and No. 3 by a score of 8-3 and taking No. 2 doubles 8-0.
Warhill (2-1) has now won back-to-back matches and will look to keep that streak going on April 12 during a road match against York.

Grafton earned its first win of the season Monday afternoon, sweeping a home match against Denbigh.
The Clippers had little trouble getting past Denbigh, dropping a total of six games during singles play. Doubles play was more competitive as Denbigh won eight games during pro sets.
Grafton (1-1) will continue its season on the road at Poquoson on Wednesday.
