Lanson Fontaine scored a pair of first-half goals to lift Bruton to a 3-0 road win against Mathews on Wednesday.
Behind Fontaine’s first half goals, one of which was assisted by Chuckie Tenbusch, the Panthers were able to build a comfortable 2-0 lead by halftime.
In the second half, Tenbusch assisted on another goal, this time from senior Jalen Carr.
Goalkeeper Jose Rios recorded five saves during the shutout victory.
Bruton (2-0) will face a quick turnaround as the Panthers prepare to host Arcadia on Thursday.
